"All Strung Out", the performance group of our 1st Church Guitars ministry, will be playing and singing around 6:00 PM at the 5th Annual Chili Bowl, this Sunday evening (1/27/08) in the Family Life Center.
We will be singing several Randy Travis songs, a "golden oldie" sung by the Monkees, and a tribute song to the late Dan Fogelberg.
The Elvis concert in the Sanctuary will follow the Chili Bowl. It starts at 7:00 PM.

When I learned that Dan had died, I downloaded his Christmas album, keeping him with me through the holidays. "Leader of the Band" will always be one of those songs that reminds me of my dad... and, of several other folks. I think that it also has a powerful allusion to Christ. I wish that I could enjoy your Sunday music in person. Any chance that you'll post it on-line?
"All Strung Out" should consider making a cd too.

There is a video of our performance at Christmas. We need to improve, but are still proud none-the-less.
